11|02|11 ~ Italian American actress Melissa Leo, has ruffled some feathers for taking out ads urging Academy members to give her the Best Supporting Actress trophy for her portrayal of Micky Ward's mother in "The Fighter."   OK, maybe that was not an appropriate move! But, Melissa deserves an Oscar.  As David Poland wrote on the Movie City News blog, "if you were going to vote for Melissa Leo and are considering not voting for her because of these ads, you are an ass."
