Italy's Minister of Justice in Washington for Talks with U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder 11|04|04 ~ Italian Minister of Justice Angelino Alfano and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder met today at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., to re-affirm the joint commitment of the United States and Italy to strengthen cooperation in the ongoing fight against terrorism and transnational organized crime. Read more...>> Earlier in the day, Minister Alfano also met with John Brennan, Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counter- terrorism, and Assistant to the President Obama. The two also discussed organize crime and migration issues, among other topics. In the afternoon, Minister Alfano also met with Federal Judge Francis Allegra of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims for a briefing on how technology is used in U.S. courtrooms. Read more . . .
