The Urbino Press Award
The Urbino Press Award is given annually in recognition of excellence in jouornalism to an American reporter who through his or her commitment and daily work, conscientiously informs millions of people.
The city of Urbino, which during the Renaissance gave life to one of the most enlightened courts in Europe, symbolically reinstates its court which no longer hears the words of Baldassare Castiglione or those of Torquato Tasso, but rather the voice and the experience of today's reporters, the outstanding interpreters of the events changing our world.
